10th Degree: Master Elect 15 Cm Square Badge

Introducing “Sacred Symbols” Collection by C.7 Design Studio. Here you will find a unique design, featuring a symbol of the masonic 10th Degree: Master Elect. Freemasonry is a fraternal organisation that arose from obscure origins in the late 16th to early 17th century. Freemasonry now exists in various forms all over the world, with a membership estimated at around six million. The fraternity is administratively organised into independant Grand Lodges or sometimes Orientates, each of which governs its own jurisdiction, which consists of subordinate (or constituent) Lodges. There are also appending bodies, which are organisations related to the main branch of Freemasonry, but with their own independant administration. The lessons of the 10° are enlightenment of soul and mind, vigilance, tolerance and being on guard for fanaticism and persecution. This degree teaches toleration of others. Everyone has the right to his own political or spiritual views. The apron is white, with a black flap, and with three arch-shaped gates -- over each a head on a spike. The jewel is a dagger similar to the one in the previous degree.
