1914 Map, Redlands to Perris Poster
This is an enlarged print of a map from an early auto guide book published in 1914. This map includes the old road from Redlands to Perris. It includes fun little thumbnail photos of a few landmarks and notes along the road including, “Deserted Indian School”, “old brick house”, Colton Ave, Highlands Ave, and Crescent. This version includes a "printed" green mat border and title that makes it ready to frame. It is set for a 16 x 20 size. If you want 16 x 20, select customize or “add image and text” and set to 16x20. There is also a version of this with a plain white background and title. The “Hamilton’s Illustrated Auto Roadmap” book had 200 strip maps of California and included small photos of landmarks along the way. Published before the days of AAA books and guides. I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
