About This Design
1950's Woolworth's Longest Lunch Counter Apron
In February of 1878 in Utica, NY, F. W. Woolworth started his "Woolworth's Great Five Cent Store", which eventually failed. He then opened another store in 1879 in Lancaster, PA., which was successful and to this day, set standards for retail businesses all over the world. In the 1950s, Woolworth's had the longest lunch counter in the world (located in Los Angeles), which was 100 feet in length. This legendary store that started it all, may be long out of business, but not forgotten. This item will make a great conversation piece at your next gathering. Look for other separate matching items. If you were opening a small restaurant, wouldn't this be something grand to serve your customers with?

The product would have been great however there are several red marks on it which leaves me very disappointed. As it is a white apron as well these marks really stand out. Such a shame as this was meant to be a Christmas gift. I know aprons will get dirty over time but it should at least begin it’s life mark free! The print itself was good and would have looked great without the extra red marks on it.
