The 4th Armoured Division Tribute honours the US military's distinguished armoured division. This division made history during WWII by leading General Patton's Third Military Force in Europe. Unlike most American armoured divisions, it was not given an official nickname during the war. However, its unofficial nickname, "Name Enough," emerged after the war, reflecting the division commander's sentiment that the "Fourth Armoured Division was name enough" and that "they shall be known by their deeds alone." The "Breakthrough" division made its debut in 1954. This design pays tribute to both the division and the brave men and women who served with courage and sacrifice.
