The 4th Infantry Division is a highly adaptable and combat-ready force, consisting of a Headquarters Battalion, three brigade combat teams, a Combat Aviation Brigade, a Sustainment Brigade, and Division Artillery. This division, which got its nickname from a play on the Roman numeral IV (four), is known as the Ivy Division because, like ivy plants, it has a strong and resilient past. The division's history of brilliance and versatility is honoured in this design.
