This cormorant is in flight over a lake where he has fished all summer long. There were only a few that did not migrate on northward to their nesting grounds this past spring. His buddies will soon be coming back around mid October. Then, he will have to dive a little deeper to find his lunch of fish. The pelicans will come about the same time. The cormorants and pelicans form a co-op fishing party and fish together for mutual benefits.
