    You never know what will bring on nostalgia but senses, items, and feelings are often intermingled with memories in a way that bring you back to a time or place. Scarves are one of those things that triggers my nostalgia for time with my grandmother. She shared her love of scarves with me in a way that brought out my own love of scarves. When I was young, I felt like wearing a scarf would make me look like a grown-up. Now that I’m older when I look at or wear a scarf I think back to times when she would let me wear her scarves and would bring me a scarf bought during her travels.
