Almond Tree Pattern Tile

The original artwork on this small Ceramic Tile was made from an original photograph by HomeWare of a branch of an almond tree. The tree is in sunlight and shadow, and the photo shows the almond hulls up close, as they emerge from the centre of a leaf cluster. The photo was then repeated to form the overall pattern. The natural colours of the nuts and leaves make a beautiful, green design.

Really nice image fixed to the tiles in my shower as a background to a soap dish. This was to hide the marks left by a broken soap dish. Just used tile adhesive and white grout. I think it looks good, almost like the drips are falling from the soap dish. No probs. Nice image.
