Alphonse Mucha Summer Magnet
Alphonse Mucha Summer magnet. Oil painting on canvas from 1896. Throughout his career, Czech artist Alphonse Mucha frequently painted allegorical depictions of the seasons. This 1896 version of Summer is from a complete four seasons set and features a beautiful young woman with light brown hair leaning on a vine by the river side as she dips her feet in the water. She wears a thin white gown and large red flowers in her hair. A beautiful gift for fans of Alphonse Mucha, art nouveau, and vintage prints.
