The Countess Kami dances near a large fire. A group of gods are seated nearby watching her dance while the warrior Tajikara-o removes the stone gate to Ama no Iwato cave. The dance was to entice Amaterasu from her heavenly cave so that the sun would shine. A rooster waits in anticipation for her success.
