Ancient Inscriptions #20 Magic Mug

This old inscription plate from the Aztec or Mayan era depicts a circular disc resembling the sun, with two deer and a bird underneath it. There are three birds at the top, a huge snake at the bottom, and various symbols such as hands and eyes. The three bushes on both sides may represent the cardinal directions or sacred places. The deer and birds may have religious or cosmological significance, while the sun and snake are often associated with gods and life/death cycles in Mesoamerican mythology.

When I first saw the mug it was just all black,and could not see the Zebra,s. When filled with a hot drink,wow,what a surprise to see it change colour,and to see the Zebra,s appear.So unusual. I would strongly recommend this product, if you are looking for something unusual.

It has been in the dishwasher several times and held up perfectly so far, the heat change still functions perfectly. Really impressed with the quality. Colours are good and I'm pleased how my design replicated.
