Ancient Knowing Poster
The inspiration for “Ancient Knowing” was created from images I received during a meditation asking for a vision to portray the Soul Essence of a horse named Scout. Scout became an angel horse in the Spring of 2008. He was an Appaloosa/Andalusian Cross. In his later years, Scout lost his eyesight but it is clear that his “vision” was always powerful. As a therapy horse in Nicole's Personal Coaching practice, Nicole said he had the gift of guiding people into self enquiry, and that clients often said he had “looked right into their soul” only later learning that Scout was not able to see. In my meditation with Scout my attention was drawn to the centre of his forehead and I began to see a seashell. Then colours swirled and formed into waves of the sea. The waves rose and formed into running horses. I asked if he had an animal totem to share, and I envisioned an owl, I heard the words specifically a Barred Owl, which I didn't know is a type of owl. To me the owl was a symbol of Scout being wise and all-seeing. I saw fireflies, and then what seemed like a moon - something glowing in the upper right corner. As I drew the shell in the centre of Scout's forehead I realised it reminded me of a unicorn horn. In my research I found an image of the Owl's Eye Nebula in space, and this seemed perfect for the mystical nature of the composition. I realised after creating the painting, that I had instinctively made the lines of his eyes and ears in similar shapes to the seashell. Nicole's comments The painting is so beautiful and so like him, and in addition the meditation was so significant and accurate - and had so many layers of meaning for me. People often referred to Scout as being like a unicorn! Also, an amazing thing occurred while you were creating the painting. The new land we have been building on is surrounded by 100-acres of wild land but was oddly absent of wildlife, perhaps because the previous owners did their best to discourage it. After we performed a blessing to call and welcome the wildlife back, the first animal to appear was a Barred owl!

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
