In fact, the Fruit pattern is also named Pomegranate. The floral design was created by famous nineteenth century textile and wallpaper designer William Morris. The rich blue background is dominant, and the green floral pattern winds up the design, with green and red pomegranates in various stages of development. The pattern is very dark, but this also makes a rich depth to the pattern. William Morris was deeply influenced by nature, a theme that continued through Morris's designs.
