Apostles' Creed Tee

The Apostles' Creed is the bare-minimum, core set of beliefs for Christians everywhere. While denominational variances exist, believers around the world can find unity in these basic truths: I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, Suffered under Pontius Pilate, Was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; He ascended into heaven, He is seated at the right hand of the Father, And he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, The holy catholic Church, The communion of saints, The forgiveness of sins, The resurrection of the body, And the life everlasting. Amen. Over the last 2000 years, faith in these doctrinal items is generally accepted as what makes an individual a Christian--begin to take away, or add any "must-haves" to this list, and you are moving away from a Christian church and closer to a cult or other religion completely. Incidentally, while the term "catholic" may cause confusion to some, the small "c" designates a generalised wholeness in Christ, the global church, as opposed to the Roman Catholic Church (large "C"). The Creed in actuality predates the Roman Catholic Church by many many years. With the persecution of Christians on the rise in many continents, it's time to send a clear message of unity. be bold and identify what you have in common with believers worldwide--the Apostles' Creed!
