About This Design

Art Deco Gold Nativity Pattern on Navy Tissue Paper

Art Deco Gold Nativity Pattern on Navy Tissue Paper

This elegant repeating design features a stylised Nativity scene rendered in luminous gold against a deep navy background. Mary and Joseph kneel beside the infant Jesus beneath a radiant star, framed by graceful architectural arches and tall palm trees. The composition is arranged in a seamless pattern, creating a rhythmic and symmetrical layout filled with celestial stars and refined linework. Inspired by Art Deco styling, the artwork blends sacred Christian symbolism with geometric sophistication. The rich navy and metallic gold palette evokes a peaceful holy night, making it a timeless celebration of faith and the Christmas story.

Custom 14.8 g/m² Tissue, Size: 25.4 cm x 35.56 cm (10" x 14")
The application of this decoupage paper was very simple , applied with PVA glue on a plywood surface. The colour stayed true to paper before application . I used cling film to apply over ply wood , no wrinkles , very pleased with the result.

I used this paper to decopague an old chest of drawers. Paper was a good quality and adhered to painted surface well. Has dried really well with no shrinkage causing splits. Printing quality as good as expected
