This another of my star trail images, this one taken in suburban Atlanta, close to the bells on Hogmanay (just before 12 on New Years Eve for the non-Scots….). I love that it picks up all of the light trails from jets descending into Hartson-Jackson Aiporrt. The details: Nikon D300, Nikkor 17-55mmVR @17mm, 126 shots at 30 seconds each, f/5.6 and ISO 320.
