This design features the flag of Bermuda (also known as Islands of Bermuda or The Somers Isles), which is a British Overseas Territory in the North Atlantic Ocean. Though often referred to in the singular, Bermuda has 181 islands; the largest of these being Main Island. It is just over 600 miles east-southeast of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina (with Cape Point on Hatteras Island being the nearest landfall); almost 800 miles south of Cape Sable Island, Nova Scotia; almost 1,000 miles northeast of Cuba; and almost 1,000 miles due north of the British Virgin Islands.
