Black Brick Mug

A visually interesting image. I enjoy looking at this image. Brilliant. I like the design because it is an intriguing optical illusion. The chair isn’t really ‘there’. It is actually part of the cement and fabric of this brick wall image. I like the ragged, uneven, top edge of the design around the rim. Breaks with the traditional linear finish of usual designs. The mug is the standard size for a mug — around 11oz. Strong. Easy to hold and handle. Microwave and dish-washer safe. I love drinking hot black coffee from this mug. The black colour makes the coffee taste stronger! The colours go well with the aroma and taste of coffee. Overall, this is a well-designed product and value for money. The design and printing is good; better than expected. Precise, sharp, print quality with image set deep into the glaze. Designed with strong, saturated bright red colour against the white of the mug itself. A visual treat! It really does remind me of an ordinary house-brick wall but in a totally unusual context! This is a talking point with visitors. Very realistic. Reminds me of people sitting together enjoying a well-earned break!

I loved designing this mug using images stored on Zazzle. Was able to choose the font for the name and uplaod a background for behind the name, and a fabulous image of a black and white horse. It came out beautifully well and I was well pleased.
