Inspired by Kintsugi, the Japanese art of gold joinery; repairing pottery with gold inlay. This process repairs the break while enhancing the beauty and elegance of the piece. I found this to be a perfect allegory for marriage. Two imperfect and possibly broken individuals joined together. Once joined, each are enhanced and elevated. More beautiful than before.
