The hillside is splashed with colour in this spring photo, blues from the bluebonnets, orange from the Indian Paintbrush, and yellow from the whatever they are wildflowers. At the top of the hill sits an old barn, rusting and rotting in the Texas sunshine. Mesquite trees blow in the breeze and provide little protection from the heat.
