Later this became a red stylised eleven-point leaf, appearing on a white and red background on the country's flag. <br><br>The term "eh" is commonly associated with Canada. As a Canadian I say eh all the time, eh. It's pronounced like a long "a" as in "ay" or "late". It's often lampooned by Americans and also Canadians, as we like to poke at ourselves too, eh? and was especially promoted by comedians Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas, who created the famous comedy Canadian stereotype characters Bob and Doug McKenzie.
