Armando Castellanos, Project Manager of the Andean Bear Project and Andean Bear expert, has widely published his research and experience with Andean Bears in both English and Spanish. You may find a list of his published papers at www.andeanbear.org/bear-papers. He has kindly given permission to use his photograph of Bubu, our store’s namesake, to help spread the word of this bear’s rehabilitation and eventual release. Bubu was born in April 2009. His mother was killed when he was a small cub and he was kept in a very unsuitable place until he was rescued. He will soon be taken to Yanahurco, a beautiful ranch on the high paramo of Ecuador and acclimated there for release.

As my previous order was kept in history of orders I was able just to reorder without having to customise the mug again, & so was able to order exactly the same mug as a replacement. I love this mug, I designed it for myself (the only thing wrong is the pink color in the print: it's darker than the preview). The inside color is perfect and also the print has a high quality finissage. colors are a bit Darker, so my pink heart and logo aren't like the preview.
