It originally was lit with candle light. A building that stretches over 2 blocks, all lit by candles. When lights did come out, it must have been a real miracle to behold. However that didn't change the lack of technology, despite having electric refrigerated cases, this place likes doing it old school, and prefers the classic look of an old type ice chest, which really did not hold that much meat.
