Popular 40th Birthday Invitations

Personalising your 40th birthday invites, or any of our other birthday invitations for that matter, is a doddle. All you have to do is follow the 4 simple steps outlined below.

• Step 1: Select a design you like and click on its thumbnail to be taken to the product page.
• Step 2: Once you're on the product page, choose a desired size, corner style, paper type and printing process. You should also let us know if you’d like to include envelopes or not. Please note that these options may vary depending on the style of invitation you selected in Step 1.
• Step 3: Click on 'Personalise' and 'Edit Using Design Tool.' You can then add images and text elements using Zazzle's design interface – this is where you'll add your own personal touch to your product!
• Step 4: Click 'Done' and see your final design! They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but… that is, of course, completely irrelevant because you are most certainly not old!

If you’re personalising one of our existing invitation designs, it’s unlikely that you’ll leave out any vital information: our community of Independent Creators are a talented bunch after all, and they’ll have included spots for all the relevant details in each of their templates. However, if you’re creating custom invitations from scratch, be sure to include the name of the person celebrating their birthday, the date, the time, the venue and any RSVP details. If there’s a gift registry, or there’s a particular dress code for the event, you should also include this information somewhere on your invite. Finally, if the party is intended to be a surprise, make sure to mention this fact as well, or someone is sure to spill the beans!
