However, if you’re designing custom invitations from scratch, you should include the following: the full name of the child being baptised, the names of each parent, the date, the time and the location of the ceremony. It’s also important to add details regarding any post-ceremony celebrations, such as a reception or small party at the family home. Some people like to include the names of the godparents and grandparents of the child, RSVP info and dress code guidelines as well, but these are optional extras.
