Cafe Poster

I painted a similar piece in 2025 to quell my dysphoria after inauguration day. The background was purple. I used the same coffee pot depicted in this piece. Since then, I have been wanting to use the same coffee pot in another piece, except floating amidst a blue celestial background instead of purple. Well, last week was the week I finally sat down & got to work. Not to toot my own horn here, but I feel pretty danged proud of how this piece turnt out. I have been on somewhat of a floral kick lately, so I threw in a vase of coral oranges here & they're complemented SO well by the blue background! I had a fun time doodling designs on the mugs & feel like it was a good choice to add yellow accents to the moon & stars. It makes them much cheerier! This piece is quite versatile. One could display it as art in a workspace, coffee shop / cafe, or kitchen. One could also use it as a birthday card for a loved one, especially if it's accompanied by a gift card to a local coffee shop!
