From my collage series, A Basin of Birds, the birds of the Yolo Basin and beyond. In creating this collage I searched old magazines for textures and colours to use as “paint” for each collage. Microscopic images may form the trunks of trees. A photo of the sea or a map of the world becomes the sky. Buildings may become stones in a landscape. Feathers may be formed from photos of cave walls, desert sands or night skies. Beautiful card to commemorate a Saints feast day. Disappointed it didn’t come with an envelope though, but I’m sure this was just an oversight. Have ordered from this shop before and the products are always beautifully unique. Printing perfect as always. Lots of beautiful designs to choose from.
