Cape Tribulation in Far North Queensland is one of the few places in Australia where the rainforest sweeps down to the ocean, Situated within the Daintree National Park, Cape Tribulation was named by James Cook in 1770 when his ship was damaged while sailing through the nearby treacherous reefs.
