Our county has a storied history stretching back to the founding era. Today, one finds everything from Boutique Shops thru 4-H, FFA, and Soapbox Derby, to National Monuments and chain stores. Beyond the economic choices, our people participate in everything from playing out history, to staging contemporary art, to bleeding edge industry and technological advancement. Several key figures in America's History called Culpeper home. George Washington laid out our town, citing the county as "a high and pleasant situation. We strive to take responsibility for the freedom and opportunities that He Who Is, and our anscestors passed us, in part by wearing this logo with honor and pride.
