Celebrating The Gemini Program T-Shirt
Crews are listed in order flown from left to right with the name of the Command Pilot shown immediately above the name of the Pilot. The icon of each mission is placed inside the border, starting with Gemini 3 on the left through Gemini 12.
Inspired by a scene in the the HBO series "From the Earth to the Moon," the Gemini spacecraft docked with the Agena target vehicle is orbiting the Earth with a crew member on EVA looking towards the Moon.
Four stars placed in the black twill honour each of the four astronauts who gave the last full measure of devotion to the space program. Under the “G” in GEMINI is a star for Ted Freeman. The two stars under the Gemini 9 art are for Elliot See and Charles Bassett. The star under the Gemini 10 art is for C.C. Williams who served on the back-up crew.
Bean, Williams and Anders all served on backup crews, but they did not fly on a Gemini mission. Their names are ghost stitched under the Gemini symbol.

I give wanted to give this a 4 instead of a 5 because these Basic DARK T0shirts run unexpectedly SLIM or Narrow. Which is great if you do not have a potbelly, but I have a paunch. It isn't the shirt's fault that I've got a beer belly. The design and shirt itself is a quality cotton shirt. The color is more of a deep purple, but still a very pretty color. The Basic DARK T-shirts run a bit SLIMMER than the Basic Ts. The neck is a fraction narrower (or seems to be narrower) also. I'm a paunchy middle-aged woman and my neck is 12 inches (31cm) thick and the neckline fell about the same as in the photo of the man, and I had the desire to tug it a bit. So if you're a thick necked man or like loose shirts, be aware these are slimmer shirts. Once I get rid of my lockdown paunch it'll look great. The shirt washed well in cold water with no apparent bleeding. We don't have a dryer, so it hung dry. Did not shrink. Love the colors and the design. The design looks smaller on my shirt than it does on the model on-line. But still, it looks good on the shirt. The printing looks as it does on the model, just the size seems fractionally smaller. Washed garment in cold water, hung dry and design appeared unaffected.

It’s a good quality cotton T Shirt, the colour is true to the description and it washes well on a cold wash. I was really pleased with printing, the detail was there and the colour was a true representation of the painting I submitted. It’s had many compliments from friends and one suggested trying it without the speech bubble as it was a bit loud for his humourless and shy personality so I’ve added one to my shop. I’ll definitely be trying more ideas so watch this space!
