Clocking In Poster

In the endless industrial megacities of the far future, humanity no longer lives beside machines — it lives inside them. Towering labour robots the size of skyscrapers march through smoke-filled factory districts every morning, calmly clocking in for shifts that never seem to end. Hidden within their colossal steel bodies are entire apartment complexes where ordinary people continue daily life while unknowingly riding inside the giant mechanical workers themselves. Families cook breakfast behind glowing windows embedded in armoured chests, children sleep beside humming circuitry, laundry hangs across exposed machinery, and exhausted workers drink coffee while gears the size of buildings turn around them. To the outside world the robots are simply industrial labour units reporting for duty. But within their metal skeletons exists a warm, crowded human civilisation trying to survive inside systems far larger than themselves. Combining cinematic sci fi realism, industrial surrealism, dystopian worldbuilding, and emotional environmental storytelling, this artwork captures the hauntingly human idea of ordinary life continuing quietly inside the machinery of an endless working world.
