Cold Lake Sunset Mug

Brilliant colors are the star in the original acrylic painting of Cold Lake, AB. Is it a glorious sunset? Is it the stunning Northern Lights? Or is it just a vivid imagination? Truth is, Cold Lake is in northern Alberta, and it's famous for its deep, cold water and the wilderness surrounding it. My husband and I were out fishing at summer's tail end, and we were blown away by the setting sun that faded in a heartbeat. As we loaded the boat a while later, the northern lights replaced the sun's radiance, and we watched it in awe. Sometimes there aren't enough colors in a palette to match what Nature herself can paint.
