Whenever we go out to eat, my husband likes to write a personal thank you note for our server. We place the tip inside as well and our hope is that it makes their day a little better. This design is a collage I made during the lockdowns of 2020. I had been furloughed and was expecting to be "officially" laid off any day. We didn't know what was next. I was tired of binge-watching shows. This was a wonderfully therapeutic use of a full day. I see things I might do differently now, but I was and am so proud of it because it reminds me of the hope that refused to give up despite everything.
