Collages Bruyants Artist's Book Odd Sad Christmas Poster

Collages Bruyants is an artist's book made in 1986. For many years I created books and notebooks that I showed only to a few people. They have never been exposed and I didn't try to sell them. The time has yellowed few pages. Here is the first drawing. The collages will come gradually over the following pages. To avoid breaking the binding of the book I photographed the book without glass plate and that is why there is a slight gradient of the paper background colour and sometimes a bulging appearance. Here the 80th page: Still life showing a green room made with gouache on Canson Paper (poster). A palm inside the house with golden spangle, a window with a blue star and maybe and boot for Santa. ---------- Pendant de longues années j'ai réalisé des livres et des carnets que je montrais qu'à quelques personnes. Ils n'ont jamais été exposés et je n'ai pas cherché non plus à les vendre. Le temps a jauni quelques pages. Ici c'est le premier dessin. Les collages viendront peu à peu au fil des pages suivantes. Pour ne pas casser la reliure j'ai photographié le livre sans plaque de verre et c'est pour cela qu'il y a un léger dégradé de la couleur de fond du papier et un aspect bombé. La chambre de nuit avec un palmier. Intérieur ou extérieur? Une image pour un poster de Noël non conventionnel.
