This t-shirt is decorated with the image of David. In 1501, 25-year-old Michelangelo Buonarroti (6 March 1475 ñ 18 February 1564) begins working on his colossal masterpiece, the 17-foot-tall marble David. From a huge block of marble that has been abandoned decades earlier by another sculptor, Michelangelo cuts out his David. It is erected in 1504 in the public plaza of Florence, the Piazza della Signoria. In 1873, the original is moved to the Accademia delle Belle Arti, where it is better protected for posterity, and a copy of the work is erected in the plaza in 1882.

I created this image and ordered it for an exhibition of my work, so it had to be top quality to be displayed alongside the original artwork. Perfect, exactly as it left my computer. Sharp and crisp with very strong and clean blacks on the cat. The shadow detail is excellent.
