Mug depicting Dedham, a picturesque village in the Borough of Colchester in Essex. Dedham is best known for the surrounding Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Dedham Vale, which stretches across the border between Essex and Suffolk, from just outside of Bures down towards Manningtree. Dedham Vale was brought to fame by artist John Constable, who grew up in nearby East Bergholt, and attended school in Dedham.
