Der Tod im Baum postcard: This vintage art is titled Der Tod im Baum (Death in the Tree) by Angelo Jank a German artist, 1868-1940 pub in the magazine Jugend circa 1897. It is an interesting scene with a young boy reaching down to collect a wreath under a small tree with a skeletal death curled up in the branches above watching. A murder of crows flies all about the scene which seems to be set in winter.
