this photo was sort of a "consolation photo", taken after my timing didn't work out quite right to get into the local national park (petrified forest) in time to catch sunset at the national monument to route 66. disappointed after missing entry into the national park by 15 minutes, i continued my drive to holbrook, where i spotted this little park. this was one of the last photos i took before moving on. (holbrook, arizona, october 2023)
