Distillation in an Alchemy Lab Sepia Jigsaw Puzzle
Master alchemist sits in a chair studying rare alchemy manuscripts with his assistant. Apprentices operate the various lab apparatus in the process of distillation. Mortar and pestle to mix ingredients, bellows to warm the fire. Furnaces are tended by the older adepts to heat retorts and collect distillate in receivers. Published in Nova Reperta by Jan van der Straet (one chapter in the book Speculum Diuersarum Imaginum Speculatiuarum), Antwerp, 1638
Latin text at the bottom reads:
The juice of the fire, art, bodies

Sir,A great product of quality,which really was, jolly good as a Christmas present for my brother in-law ,who is a mushroom expert here in England.

Nice compact box, however, the picture of the jigsaw on the box is literally no more than 4 x 3 inches and as this is supposed to be a gift for someone to make the jigsaw based on the picture - I'm not sure how they are supposed to do that with such a small picture?! Can I suggest the box contains a larger picture of the jigsaw for those less able to see the extremely small details on the box sticker.
