Dragon Rising to Heavens Ogata Gekko Fine Art Poster
"Ryu sho ten" or "Ryu shoten" (Dragon rising to the heavens), also known as "Gekko Zuihitsu" (Gekko's Sketch), a ukiyo-e print from Ogata Gekko's Views of Mt. Fuji. A dragon rises out of smoke near Mt. Fuji, ascending towards the sky.
The text on the left-hand side is in an archaic form of Japanese writing that includes characters not in common use any more, translation follows:
明治卅年十一月一日印刷同月五日発行印刷兼発行日本橋区吉川町二番地松木平吉
Printed on Nov 1st, 30 of Meiji [1897], published on the same month 5th. Printed and published by Heikichi Matsuki, who lives 2 Yoshikawa, Nihonbashi ward.

I like the design features on the website. They enable the fitting of a good quality Print to an existing frame.
This Print was of excellent quality. I would buy again.
One small gripe is that the image was not centred horizontally (about 3mm out) so needed trimming. No great hardship and may have been my fault in the setting-up.
Next time, I would choose to set the text below the picture to a smaller font.
Overall - Thank You! Looks good in its frame - Just as expected. I had a very expensive Gallery print of this before. It got damaged - hence the replacement. It compares very well.
