Whenever we go out to eat, my husband likes to write a personal thank you note for our server. We place the tip inside as well and our hope is that it makes their day a little better. I am so happy with how this elephant turned out. Even though it is somewhat abstract and cartoonish, the eyes feel real to me. What is it about elephants that can make us feel like they just understand?
