    About This Design

    Eroding Community Roots Mouse Mat

A photorealistic, symbolic abstract scene depicting a massive, gnarled “community tree.” Its deep roots, representing cultural heritage and local resources, are embedded in a patch of healthy green earth. Yet, a dark, toxic, iridescent flood encroaches, eroding the soil around the roots and tilting the tree precariously. The tree’s few fragile, withering leaf-like forms emphasize decline. In the distance, on higher untouched ground, fortified geometric structures stand unaffected, highlighting resilience for some and vulnerability for others.

I needed a mouse mat for my desk at home that would stay put and not take up much space. This does the job perfectly. The fabric on top is soft and the rubbery bit is nice and thick, which is comfortable on the hand and wrist. Exactly as expected. Print is crisp with no bleeding.
