Faceless Ghosts - this one is a little creepy! A few months back I visited Japan (had an awesome time!) and it really left an indelible mark on me, especially my creative side. They have a fascinating history of beliefs, stories, mythologies - many involving spirits, yokai, bakemono, and ghosts! There is creature called a Noppera-bō (faceless ghost) who is sometimes depicted as using Japanese "Noh Masks" to hide their blank faces. Noh Masks are already a little creepy (if you ask me!) - but very cool, I was able to see some particularly lovely ones on my trip. Here I've painted a lovely maiden in the woods with two faceless ghosts beside her. Is she some sort of spirit herself? Who can say? This is my own original acrylic painting. REMEMBER - you can make this shirt for men/women/children/babies or make it long sleeved or a Tshirt or a tanktop - and even change the colour! All you need to do is click the "Select a Different Shirt Style" link by the sizing options - customise it just how you like it!

I give wanted to give this a 4 instead of a 5 because these Basic DARK T0shirts run unexpectedly SLIM or Narrow. Which is great if you do not have a potbelly, but I have a paunch. It isn't the shirt's fault that I've got a beer belly. The design and shirt itself is a quality cotton shirt. The color is more of a deep purple, but still a very pretty color. The Basic DARK T-shirts run a bit SLIMMER than the Basic Ts. The neck is a fraction narrower (or seems to be narrower) also. I'm a paunchy middle-aged woman and my neck is 12 inches (31cm) thick and the neckline fell about the same as in the photo of the man, and I had the desire to tug it a bit. So if you're a thick necked man or like loose shirts, be aware these are slimmer shirts. Once I get rid of my lockdown paunch it'll look great. The shirt washed well in cold water with no apparent bleeding. We don't have a dryer, so it hung dry. Did not shrink. Love the colors and the design. The design looks smaller on my shirt than it does on the model on-line. But still, it looks good on the shirt. The printing looks as it does on the model, just the size seems fractionally smaller. Washed garment in cold water, hung dry and design appeared unaffected.

It’s a good quality cotton T Shirt, the colour is true to the description and it washes well on a cold wash. I was really pleased with printing, the detail was there and the colour was a true representation of the painting I submitted. It’s had many compliments from friends and one suggested trying it without the speech bubble as it was a bit loud for his humourless and shy personality so I’ve added one to my shop. I’ll definitely be trying more ideas so watch this space!
