This is a detail from the murals inside the El Rey Theatre. Painted in 1948 by Martin Ravenstein and Chico State art dept students, the murals have sustained damage over the years. Photographed by Gary Quiring in 2008, they were digitally restored by Gary Quiring and Lisa West. ©Gary Quiring, 2016.
