Marshall Field's was the place to be at Christmastime! An annual trip to Chicago to see the Christmas windows were a must for many families! Uncle Mistletoe would pop up in scenes with Aunt Holly, the story of "The Night Before Christmas" would be featured or ballerinas would dance joyfully in front of gleeful children. I completed this illustration using a B&W "stipple" technique with watercolor tones. I hope this magical illustration brings back happy memories for you!
