I Corinthians 13 is one of the most used scriptures in weddings. The declaration on the reverse side of the invitation is a rendering of verses 1-4 that claims God’s promises in His word. In developing the rendering, I refer to 4-5 different Bible translations and 4-5 commentaries that delve in to the Greek. I am always amazed at how much the English translation leave out from the original Greek language.
