The frilled-neck lizard also known as the frilled lizard, frilled dragon or frilled agama. Its common name comes from the large frill around its neck, which usually stays folded against the lizard's body. These are unique, beautiful reptiles. Frill-necked lizards were even pictured on the Australian two cent coin until 1991. The frilled-neck lizard often kept as an exotic pet. These may not be the most commonly seen pet reptile, but that is no excuse to overlook the proper care of these exotic creatures.
