Geranium Card

A few years ago, I made a red geranium painting for a loved one & got the idea to make a geranium painting of my own. I always liked those orangeish coral ones the most. My first attempt was, admittedly, dogshit. I recently donated that painting to the general public by setting it on the curb for a random person to take for free. Someone took it! Hopefully they're enjoying it. To do better this time around, I used a medium shade of orange as the darkest colour in the flower design instead of the dark burnt orange shade I used last time. I think it worked. I just love the way the leaves turned out, too! Set against a vibrant and almost aquatic-feeling blue background, the orange flowers really pop & would be a lovely dissent from the strangely popular sad beige aesthetic. This piece can be displayed as art or sent as a greeting card for any warm weather holiday.
