Girl Lost in Thought (by H.A. Brendekilde) Lumbar Cushion
This design features a painting by the Danish artist Hans Andersen Brendekilde (1857–1942). It depicts a girl sitting on a rock on a rural hillside as she looks out to sea. She has a blonde ponytail. There are beautiful flowers growing from the grass on the hill. At the bottom of the hill, in front of the seashore, are some houses. It is a beautiful image of traditional rural life in Denmark. The original artwork was painted by H.A. Brendekilde in 1906.
