Girls With Red Poppies (by George Henry) Stone Coaster

This design features a painting by the Scottish artist George Henry (1858–1943), who was one of the most prominent members of the Glasgow School of art. It a depicts a group of girls with beautiful red hair who are standing in a field of tall flowering poppies. The bright red of the flowers accentuates the colour of the girls' hair. There are poppies growing all around the girls, even far into the distance. The girls are smiling happily as they talk to each other in the field of flowers. The original artwork was painted by George Henry in 1891.
